Apsara crown is a replica of Apsara sculptures on the walls of temples, especially Angkor Wat. The Apsara, representing the fairies of heaven, is one of the important symbols in Cambodian culture. Apsara Dance, an ancient royal dance with graceful hand gestures and intricate costumes and crown, was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2003. Kbang is one of the styles of head decoration for the female character in the Khmer graphic art. They are generally being used to decorate the characters of the princess and other female characters in the royal family.
