About the Programme

"Rhythmic Kowloon City 2.0" is a diverse performing arts training program focusing on musical theatre creation. It consists of five workshop modules: "Lyrics and Creation", "Singing and Performance", "Movement and Rhythm", "Drama and Improvisation", and "Percussion and Rhythm". These workshops help participants rediscover their creative inspiration and performing arts potential. Participants not only experience the joy of performing arts firsthand but also deepen their understanding of Kowloon City district's cultural heritage. They will attempt to create lyrics and musical theatre performances based on past and present daily life experiences and personal stories from Kowloon City district, sharing them with the public in a lively and vibrant manner.

About the Group

Arts' Options is an arts and life education organisation dedicated to using art as a medium to integrate life education into daily living. Since its establishment, it has been committed to providing drama and life education courses for different communities, and through professional stage productions, promotes universal core values and fosters local cultural and artistic atmosphere. The theatre's artistic director is Chan Kwai-fun, and its core members are experienced theatre practitioners with extensive experience in dramatic arts and drama education. They have designed, planned, and produced various types and scales of drama activities, workshops, lectures, and programs tailored for different schools and organisation, receiving high acclaim. Since the 2022-23, the arts group has been participating in the "18dART — Yuen Long Community Arts Scheme" with their production titled "Yuen Long Anew".
