About the Programme
Introducing tap dance, folk dance and exploring the body movement potential of public through interesting workshops and community touring performances. A production of tap theatre performance features the characteristics of Wong Tai Sin will bring with dance and acting training workshops, which cultivate new participants' interests in and appreciation of dance. Selected participants will demonstrate what they have learned at the finale performance.

About the Group
R&T (Rhythm & Tempo) is an active professional tap dance company based in Hong Kong. In April 2014, the company is officially registered as a non-profit-making limited company and became the recipient of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council's 1-Year grant. Ken KWOK, Eve LEUNG, and Wing WONG has been organizing and producing activities of different natures in order to promote and develop the art of tap dance locally through professional productions, school tours, community promotions, workshops, etc., R&T is committed to developing tap dance as one of the local mainstream dance forms and creating different styles of tap dance productions, so as to enrich and diversify the artistic lives of local audiences and to spread the fun of dancing.

All activities of the scheme are free of charge.
To show care for senior citizens, people with different abilities and other communities in need, the LCSD has introduced the Community Care Series which offers a vast range of recreational, sports and cultural activities and facilities. For details, please visit its webpage at
